The Colosseum and Roman Forum – two more must sees on our to do list! Now get ready for some history.
First things first: The Colosseum. Particularly impressive: The whole Colosseum was originally covered in white marble on the inside and sometimes got flooded with water to reenact ship battles.
Right next to the Colosseum: The Roman Forum, the ruins of ancient government buildings and center of Roman public life for centuries! Good to know: You only have to buy tickets for the Roman Forum OR the Colosseum. The entrance the second sight is free!
